Hello Fellow Paddlers , Parents and Canoeing Widows(ers)

I can not believe that another year has passed and that it is time for venturing out from the pool into the wild water of Loch Lomond and beyond! This also means that it is time for the AGM. Thanks in advance to all who attended.

I am delighted with the way the club has progressed, thanks to the interest and enthusiasm of the members. This is your Club and it is what you make it, the more you put in the more that you get out- we should not forget that the object of the Club is to PADDLE! Some formalities are necessary and they form the platform for safe paddling- and seal launching?!

We have planned some mid-week sessions and trips. (See attached trips list). We are going to try alternative weeks between the juniors and the more Older "intermediates "& adults. This will allow us to vary the sessions according to the group and is an ideal opportunity for those who wish to attain their SCA Star Awards. I hope that we will soon see new instructors rise from the ranks to share the load.

We are currently standing at 74 members on paper, with a regular attendance at the pool of 16+ juniors and around the same at the adult sessions. I always enjoy seeing the progress that so many have achieved , thanks to your dedication.

Pleased to have Jim McCulloch , LC.O. to present the pool awards. Well done to all who have gained awards, due to hard work regular attendance. Any that missed them will have the opportunity to resume them after the summer.

.. for all those who come early and stay behind to help with the boats. We should soon have some pool boats down here, which should avoid having to transport the Cyphurs down every week.
