| Pool Awards | These are Junior Paddling Awards given for Paddling and Pool skills, which have been learned and practiced during the pool sessions, and assessed at the end of the indoor season. |
| BCU Star Awards |
These tests are for closed cockpit kayaks - i.e. kayaks designed for use on white water where a significant element in controlling the kayak is gained through gripping the deck and sides with knees and thighs.
